By the end of this generation, Nintendo will have released at least 5 Zelda games on their platforms. Of these 5 games, 3 are remakes and another rehashes the overworld from A Link to the Past. What happened to this great franchise? The previous generation we had 4 entirely new Zelda games. No rehashing overworlds or remakes. Is Nintendo having trouble deciding where to take the Legend of Zelda next? BTW, I'm willing to pretend Hyrule Warriors doesn't exist if you promise to forget Link's Crossbow Training.

lol it takes balls to make a thread like this on the vgchart forums.

If I made it, I would've gotten banned.

@OP

I like Hyrule Warriors (I guess, I only played it for 4 hours) and Link's Crossbow Training.

I didn't like Skyward Sword or Phantom Hourglass and I skipped Spirit Tracks. The direction Nintendo has taken this generation is fine in my opinion.

I'm genuinely curious what that direction is. If I had to guess the direction, it would be backwards because they've gotten all of their material from the past. Of course, everything I'm saying I'm saying looking at only the games released at the moment. That means Zelda U might as well not exist since well... it doesn't really exist yet. If it is as good as it looks, I might change my tune.
