I understand that nintendo fans do not care about trophies and if Nintendo don't want to add a trophy system to any of his consoles, fine by me.  The reality is that there are people who care about trophies/achievements even if the trophy system as a whole are useless and those who care are in the minority.  The point is it doesn't hurt to add someting that some people may like, that's the reason Sony implemented the trophies system even if it's to cater to the minority.   Unless it cost too much, I don't see the problem implementing something that some user may enjoy.  If you don't like it, then it should be allowed to be disabled, that way you cater to everyone.  I guess Nintendo philosophy is just one way vision and nothing in the world can make them change. 

I'm not sure if you've read what I have said or not.  I was saying that I wouldn't mind if Nintendo implemented one, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't due to lack of confidence in its potential for actually netting profits.
