Amazon actually changes prices based on interest on their website.
Say for example your searching for a low volume text book for radar engineering.
You go check it out and its $96.72
You report back to your company how much it is going to be.
You then go back to buy it, and its $99.82
basically, you checking something out, but not buying it can raise the price.
I know from experience
