You overreacting way too much. Just because they had that F-Zero minigame does not mean Star Fox, or F-Zero, will be downgraded to that level. 

Miyamoto's comments on Starfox very much sound like he's just shoehorning awkward Gamepad controls just to try to justify the controller. Novelty for the sake of novelty.

And chances are they will be optional. Nearly every Wii U game can support the Pro Controller or Wii Mote.
