Will the PS4 outsell the PS2? (OP Updated)

if you understood the market share that the PS2 had and the period of time it was sold and strongly supported you would not say yes. it not realistic to expect it to happen because we are in a different era. again, the PS2 had the benefit of supplying someone with a DVD player (still very relevant at the time) and a gaming platform. The PS4 does not have an extra element that will enable it to maintain on pace with the PS2. it will slow down dramatically soon

the wii u is doing horribly, the xbox one is doing a little bit better than the xbox 360, and the ps4 is doing better than the ps2 and the wii, a console that died off very fast but was still able to muster up over 100 million consoles sold. i don't understand the market share statement.
