Just played a new game on new super mario bros, 30 second mandatory cutscene was too much.

Exactly. When I tried some Wii games made by Nintendo, they pretty much all started with cutscenes that were unskippable.
I really don't care what Bowser did or why Mario must save the Mushroom Kingdom again, make them skippable!


Another thing though. I would agree with him on CGI cutscenes, but ingame ones don't use much "energy" at all.
