I'm currently waiting it out to see its features flesh out. Amiibo so far has been built for Smash which I have no interest in, and as add-on content for the other games. If it stays like that, I'm not buying.
I do like figurines that have no stands, such as Kirby or Yoshi... and those are getting amiibo features in their respective games. So never say never. And for TLoZ maybe Toon Link, who still has a stand but it's better than Link's.
