Noticed people are discussing what's next for amiibo, and it is quite obviously Kirby. Earlier this month Kirby's Rainbow Curse cover came out, and it already sports the amiibo icon. Only game so far to have the amiibo sticker on its retail package has been Smash, none were seen on Mario Kart or even on the latest Captain Toad release. The latter should get its amiibo functionally in an update.

So what does this mean? Will Kirby have Amiibo support right out of the box just like Smash or will it also include "write" functionality spawning a new set of Kirby figurines?
