Unless Nintendo designs a new gimmick that attracts the likes of soccer mums, care home residents and kids under 11, there is absolutely nothing they can do to prevent the wiiu from selling less than the gamecube.
Having said that, I am stunned at the Wii U sales. It seems to be holding fine this far especially considering how over priced the thing is and how dismal the 3rd party support is. It should be no more than $150.
