I dont think Sony will enter with a PSmote ... they already have the sixaxis and the Eyetoy peripheral , in best case Sony will try to do something new , a peripheral that is far from the Wiimotes image , and then as you say MS will be attacked from all parts for ripping the idea from Nintendo .
Will this happen ? Yes . Sony doesnt needs a boost this year from a new hardware , especially with the killer lineup they have this year . True , MS has to do something to help their low hardware sales , but IMO this idea was truly stupid and in the end it will only help to destroy MSs image as a capable console manufacturer ...
