Xenoblade is a franchise with serious growth potential. The lackluster distribution of the game, however, killed most of its momentum for the game. If this game didn't have such a good reputation in the gaming comunity, it would have faded into obscurity. So Nintendo wants to get people to know better the series. Another title that Nintendo published that needed an introduction to regular Nintendo consumers was Bayoneta. With Bayoneta II they released an improved version of the original, allowing newcomers to follow the series. And both Bayo I &II came together.

I know that Xenoblade is coming for the N3DS, but I think Nintendo wouldn't have any problems in remastering the game and selling it on the WiiU, even if it's just on the E Shop. What do you think? Was a good idea to put Xenoblade on the N3DS? Or it would have been better on the WiiU? Or both? What would have been better for the IP?

you say you know it's coming on N3DS but still want Xenoblade HD..... such a massive game would take forever to remaster. Also, you seem to ignore the fact that Xeblade Chronicles X (which is in HD) is coming out next year (here hoping).

I actually want Xenoblade for the 3DS. However, I don't know when the N3DS will arrive to the west or how succesful it will be. People that already have Wii U and want the Xenoblade Cronicles might want to play the original (like I said, horribly distributed and priced).

You know it deserves the GOTY.
