It would be great but probably to expensive for MS/Sony. I would much rather you got a digital alternative when buying the game, when you download it digitally, the game disc becomes unusable. This would require a one-time, online check-up for every game but I think people can manage :).
Btw, I am the only one buying my games here, all digital :).
