That wouldn't make much sense, first off they need to at least be profitable so it's better to sell a given amount either flat or at a small loss or small gain than it is selling 10-15% more at a big loss per unit.
Secondly; a price cut of that size wouldn't have much effect at any rate.
I see no point in it, to be honest, I think Nintendo will (correctly) focus on profits for the remainder of the 8th gen.
