This issue is different from the 'power of the cloud' jokes people were making.
And it's not the answer to everything regardless. FH2 had network issues at launch as well, people on other forums were mentioning they couldn't get online for the first three days.
Weirdly, I think MK8 had the smoothest launch out of racers this year. That launch was far bigger than the other two and didn't have problems if I remember correctly.
