Here's what I don't understand.
Where did Nintendo use the profit they made from last gen? Especially when they were only competing against the last gen consoles with the Wii U?
Why did they sit on their hands for a year and do nothing?
I keep hearing about how Nintendo is trying to establish 3rd party relations in alternative ways.
I don't buy that crap.
Fact is they are still stuck in the 90s, thinking they can devs will just prostrate themselves at their feet, and beg to only be allowed to release 5 games per year.
When you don't even support your console, how can you expect the industry and consumers to do the same?
EDIT: I mean look at the PS3 vs the PS4, Sony developing the PS3 was exactly how Nintendo developed their own consoles, doing their own thing. That's fine and dandy but don't expect third parties to hand you your games on a silver platter.
