And people thought nintendo was dying when they were actually making a bigger profit than sony despite sony having the most hardware.

Nintendo finds a way to make a profit out of almost everything. There's no way this company is dying soon like everybody thought it would happen a few years back.

Which really makes you question the competency of analysts and journalists who said that Nintendo should or will go the way of Sega and become a 3rd party (which really seemed to be the general consensus three years ago, frightning).

I actually believed in the doomsaying myself and feared that Nintendo would face this fate someday. Well, until I saw how much money Nintendo really made and I read how they run their business. Out of all the companies in this industry, Nintendo is by far the safest bet to stay in this business until the end of time.

 agreed - it's SW sells amazing - no matter what the hardware sells. The HW selling amazing this generation just means more profit than usual.
