So I still can't tell who the real MC is in Psycho-Pass. I got the impression it was about Shinya, but the series seems to revolve more around Akane.

Either way, I'm on episode 3, and it's an excellent anime!

It is indeed amazing. I think Akane is the main character. It's her story about joining the force among other things that you will see eventually.
