Nintendo is now aiming for 1080p? Over half the games shown at E3 were 1080p.

Throw into the mix the fact that the Super Mario 3d World reveal trailer was only 720p and Wind Waker HD's E3 trailer was also 720p and there is far from a pattern.

i mean, look at the games listed in the op, if they are already upscaling some trailers, why not all of them, what is the poing of uploading some on 720p and others on 1080p, it doesn't make sense, that's why i say that MAYBE they are targeting 1080p, not that the games are confirmed 1080p just for their trailer video resolution

I understand your point but mine was they have previously uploaded 720p and 1080p videos for the same game, they have uploaded 720p videos for native 1080p games and 1080p trailers for 720p.  Therefore I don't think there is too much point surmising that there is any correlation between the games' native resolution and their available resolutions on Youtube.
