Well, if you are really into sims, 60fps is kinda important but I don't really know yet how much of a sim this game is. You can obviously play the game in 30fps but for people who try to squeeze every tenth of a second out of a lap it's not really great.
But that doesn't mean that most will be fine with 30fp on Wii U especially since most who play games like GT with wheel because of the realism and not just for fun own probably other systems.
