Thats obvious. Nintendo owns the IP. Did you mean 3D platformers? Then the answer is not yet, but in the 6th gen Sony prooved with the Ratchet and Jak series that they can be at least on-par


on par with Sunshine.....maybe;)

 

Exactly... Insomniac managed to produce 4 platformers in the genre during one generation, on par with only one released by Nintendo. Things can change fast.
