Yes Meret, Freedom Wars is the only Vita title that is in development. And Japan is not the best example of system fatigue. We all seen it with the PSP, the same will be with the Vita. After the 3DS stumbles the Vita will take its place as the developers favorite system 
OT: it could happen. That is if the WiiU is not discontinued by then and we reach generation "9".
