| Dark Chaos said: Wii U doesnt have games and no third party support which the Xbox One does have. Also, people buy consoles based on exclusives not multiplats. The PS3 sold well despite having inferior multiplats because of its great exclusives. I see the Xbox One following the same path. |
I can't believe you just said the Wii U has no games...
Somebody get Padib, Spemanig, or Nintentacle in here.
The PS3 barely tied the 360 with Japan and the International support.
Sony went from 155mill with PS2 to 82mill with the PS3, that isn't considered well, multiplat inferiority lasted for only half the generation while the disparity between the PS4 and X1 is not only bigger but permanent.
Meanwhile the Xbox went from 24~mil to 82 mill with the X360.
PS3 lost the US its only because of international support that it was pulled up to tie for second.
The XB1 is losing everywhere, its best region is still 1:(1.5-2) in favor of PS4, its going to have to decimate the PS4 in the US just to catch up, and Halo is not flappy bird.
Assuming a huge boost from the kinectless SKU it'll have a month, same as December, and that will be it, the consoles are virtually identical, for every Exclusive on one side, I can name another on the competiton's, and there are more multiplats than exclusives.
IF it is about the games as you claim, 25 games, 5 of them exclusives for either platform, 20 of them multiplats, every game cost 60$, the average consumer is not going to get 20 inferior versions for the same price as 20 superior versions just because of 5 exclusives.
Both consoles play the game exactly the same, so why in the hell would it matter when you are choosing between 2 400$ pieces of black plastic.
