I'm guessing 55k, and that's being fairly generous. I could take pictures for people, but every Walmart/Target/Best Buy/GameStop I've been too around here has stacks of the things collecting dust.

The charts notched up a little bit for a couple of days, but it never caught the PS4 even on the best day (the 9th), and quickly fell back to it's usual place in the cobwebs of the charts.

The real problem is that the vast majority of the die-hard gaming fans that wanted an XB1 already have one, or are waiting still longer for Halo MCC/etc in the holidays, when bundles/further discounts are more likely. $449 didn't do squat for the XB1, $399 with no game isn't going to do squat either.

So in closing : no sellouts that I can see + terrible TERRIBLE charting = failure.

Dont worry guys! Thread's over. This guy went to every Walmart, Target, Best Buy and Gamestop around him. Lets forget that it was available for pre-order for a whole month, MS actually sends tons of stock and that we have official sources of this new SKU selling well (Someone who knows ALL of Gamestops sales and not just a couple stores). But lets just listen to this guy, ok?

Lol, I remember earlier in the gen when there were pictures everywhere of retailers having stockpiles of XBones, and when people would say "hey look at these pictures from X, Y, and Z retailers I went to" it was the cool thing to say "blah blah blah anecdotal evidence, blah blah blah your store doesn't reflect the market" and even with pics from people all over the internet, the stock response from MS fans was "if it was really like that, you'd find those pictures everywhere and wouldn't need to search hard for them" (you guys simply ignored each and every example given).

Then, it turned out that there were "stacks of the things collecting dust" all over and diminishing sales showed that (along with like 900k on the shelves earlier this year).

Now, we have this happening again, with a guy saying he's seeing stockpiles and charting from major retailers showing PS4 > X1, and you're still running back to "blah blah blah anecdotal evidence"? Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it......

OT: I'm going 90k. BenV said XBone is ahead of PS4 in the US in June, but in order to make up the difference from the prior week and take the lead for the month so far, it'd have to jump up to like 70k. The price drop is happening in EU too, and the baseline there was around 10-11k or so before we knew a price drop was coming, so it could easily go passed 20k. This may seem to contradict my prior statement, but that's only because there were "stockpiles" of the XBone in the waning holiday season when it was still over 100k a week (65-75k in the US), and future sales showed that people weren't scooping it up at the rate MS wanted

edit: my prediction from 100k to 90k since I didn't read prior numbers properly
