I hope it works out, I really do. Nintendo and Platinum deserve it, I just fear that so much damage was done to Nintendo's standing with hardcore players during the later Wii years (even the GameCube could drive some OK software sales in more niche-y titles), that the poor Wii U doesn't have a chance with these types of games.
Nintendo fans on boards like this are vocal, but they're a very small minority in reality, if they were the majority, things like Wonderful 101 would've sold at least 600k+ too, Zombi U would've cleared 2 million, and Metroid Prime 3 would've done like 5-6 million on the Wii.
