Allow me to clarify my comment since everyone and their mother took issue with my comparison. I know W101 and Bayo2 are different types of games, but both are made by a studio that doesn't make very many financial successes. I don't expect much for a niche title on a system selling so poorly. There's also the fact that Bayo2 is an M rated game, something that doesn't usually sell well on Nintendo consoles. I think Eternal Darkness was the last high profile M-rated exclusive Nintendo had and it was a colossal flop. And yes this is an established IP, but the franchise was established on different consoles. It's a completely new franchise for Nintendo fans.
So I'm sticking with my 500k lifetime prediction.
