That would be impressive, if not for the fact that their reasons for not making the changes sooner were not contradicted by the very changes themselves. Furthermore, some of the changes like Games For Gold and Netflix Paywall, where things that required an entire generation to change.
The situations are not equivalent, so comparing time is not a fair comparison. Not to mention MS had prior knowledge.
