Clearly, the structure of this thread is going to be heavily skewed by bias and prejudice.
Thus, a more effective way of analyzing this topic more objectively, despite the fact that the question is inherently more objective, is to divorce the greviances from the companies that commited them.
So which of these actions themselves are the most arrogant/stupid:
Contexts are purposely left out and some options can apply to both companies.
A - inclusion of cost-prohibitive technology, generally to purport a technological vision
B - ignoring consumer response
C - ignoring/ignorance of prior knowledge
D - disconnect with consumer desires
E - deliberate insulting/abandonment of consumer base
F - testing the waters, so to speak, by testing out policies to illicit consumer response
G - reliaince on strength of brand
H - reliance on strenght of vision
I - failure to provide necessary information
J - other
