as wii moves past 50% market share, u will see more and more and more hardcore games coming to wii

wii will be a hardcore gamer's paradise in 3-4 years

Really? What's the logic in that? because it wasn't hardcore games that made Wii successful in the first place. In fact, hardcore games sold horribly on Wii. (of course, depends if you consider SSBB or SMG hardcore games, when they are clearly targeting younger audiences or at least attempts to with newer, less proven and often flawed controls)

Blaming Sony and Microsoft for the high production games is like blaming Hollywood for high budget movies. But unlike high budget Hollywood movies who sells, you don't get majority of people going out and watch Superbad.

Okay, they do, but come on, do you want gaming world becoming more like Hollywood?

I seriously hope that you expected to get rebutted on this.  First, can't a younger gamer be a hardcore gamer, or is it an exclusive club you have to be 18 to get into?  Second, Galaxy and Brawl.  How the hell do you not consider them 'hardcore' games (unless hardcore=bloodgutsomgshootzorz!)?  You also pulled the 'less proven, flawed controls' for those games out of your ass.

The only two hardcore games that have flopped on Wii are Zack and Wiki, which got no advertising and only shipped very few, and Manhunt, which was a crap game that sold better on Wii than its' PS2 version.  I challenge you to name one other hardcore game on Wii that has sold badly.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
