Yeah but that doesn't matter as long as you have cash reserves. At least that's what I've heard in here. People seem to think that if a company has 10 billion dollars, they can keep on losing a few hundred million every year for many years without any consequences.
That's not how things work though, naturally. As for operating losses; between developing the QoL platform, possibly a new handheld, selling their home console at a loss, carrying almost all the software responsibility on their current main platform and building new HQ; there's no way they will post a profit for quite some time.
