Not sure if it is worth the investment.. How much more copies can Sony expected to say from the playstation 4 over the xbox one? maybe 500k..?

The game is multiplatform..whether they like it or not. [unlike titanfall, ms console exclusives.]

I think Sony are more interested in the hardware boost.  From the preorder numbers and the stuff that BenVtrigger said in another thread, Destiny is going to be huge and shift a lot of consoles.

True it should move alot of consoles but I am saying if someone wanted to play the game on the xbox one with their friends, I doubt they will care about the destiny on ps4 or bundled...also considering there might be a price cut for the x1 coming this fall. Is it a good move for sony? of course but will it sell that many consoles with  the game is on every single platform, i would love to see that, but i doubt it. Ps3 and xbox 360 will cut those next gen numbers by a huge margin.

I don't think last gen will cut into sales too much.  I think there are a lot of people hyped for Destiny on next gen and the preorders, although at times wildly inaccurate on this site, prove that.

I'm not sure how many more PS4s will be sold over X1s because of the official bundle and advertising, but they should both get a boost.  I can't be bothered to find it now, but I'm sure I've seen an article about Activision setting aside an incredible amount of money for advertising the living hell out of this game.
