I would have to say yes they do get more attention. But last year they had to deal with problems that it didn't go in their favor, the biggest being they tried with only one streaming source last year, I think it was akamai and it was hit hard so it brought the stream down. Now they are reguarally using Youtube in addition plus it seems they are adding Twitch and possible a few others just in case it gets hit again. So techinical problems souldn't be a problem for this. And it will be more about the content of what they have to announce and show, which will include the new Wii U Zelda title, not Hyrule warrior the one Nintendo is working on. Plus possibly more of X.
The other big problem was how the message orginally was handled that they would be having a pretaped presentation instead of their usually press conference for the public and smaller meetings for the press and business sectors through out the conference. Most site handled as they we foregoing E3 totally and wouldn't be there and that stuck. On a side not NOA really needs a new PR person ever since FIls-Amie took over the President's position who ever took over his old spot has been doing horribly.
