I like Nintendo games for their fluid gameplay and creativity. In terms of difficulty, they are even a little too easy for my taste. But most of the time you get soe extra challenges to motivate you a little.
I'm a little disappointed with Ninty's output in the last couple of years, but they still made some of the best games of all time. Some even defined whole genres until this very day. That's why I like Nintendo games. They offer something fresh while delivering stupidly great gameplay. I don't know nor do I care why other people like or dislike the games.
