When are we going to stop selecting the early in the generation excuse for certain sitautions but not others.

e.g.

its to early to decide how 8th gen will play out (after 4 months)

home consoles are doomed in japan (after 2 weeks)

Clearly, everyone but the Japanese understand how the Japanese console market operates.
