That article basically said nothing...
But, I will say that I would be interested in Nintendo making one unified platform that worked as both a handheld and a home console. Nintendo spoke a lot about unifying their systems and it seems that it is becoming more difficult (with rising dev costs and times) to support two consoles (Sony is struggling with supporting both PS4 and Vita also).
I'm not sure how feasible it is technologically but I think that is something that Nintendo should be looking carefully at...
