When Wii was that price, it has the trump card of a revolutionary interface as a hook; Wii U has no such luxury.

... which basically makes it a GameCube, only it doesn't technically match up with the modern consoles of its era.

Thankfully, they don't seem to be butchering their key franchises as badly as  they did on GC, but there's still time for that...
