Power isn't the key. The Gamecube was more powerful than PS2. Power is important, but it's only a part of the problem. It would need to be as powerful, have a mature, stylish design. It would have to have an equivalent online infrastructure. It would have to market the machine to the hardcore, grown male demograph. It wuold have to have DVD and Blu-Ray playback. Nintendo would have to court third parties and indies and make sure they were taken care of and they'd have to make sure that the controller was STANDARD.

If they did all that, I'm convinced they'd dominant.
