First off ... he should know that the Wii U was going to have content issues for 2014 again well before December 2013. It's his JOB to know things like that and react.
Xenoblade HD, Kid Icarus Uprising HD, and Bayonetta: Director's Cut would be time-effective and cost-effective solutions to filling out the library ... but Nintendo just doesn't care enough to do it.
