This is pretty tempting. I really enjoyed borderlands 2 and having it on the go would be awesome. Just worried the online community will be so tiny it won't be worth it.

Community? You can only play with 3 players at once, anyway. Don't really need hundreds of thousands of online players to be able to do that.

"So no, I don't think this really does anything for sales. I mean, you can buy BL2 for $20 now, or the GOTY version for $40." /J.Allard

This is practically the GOTY version, isn't it? So that's the at least $40 added value + 8GB memory card, which costs something like $30

The problem is that this game will lucky to have a hundred players online at any given time. And you need 3 players within a close level of you, that are currently playing online, and not in a full game. It actually takes a few minutes for me to find a game on the PC version which has 20,000 people online at any given time. But the vita is building up a nice library of games. Could be worth it.
