Honestly Take Two just didn't do many games that could've even worked on the Wii.

GTA IV/V - impossible
last gen GTA port - there isn't one on the other consoles either, so why a Wii port ?
Red Dead Redemption - impossible
L.A. Noire - impossible (3 discs on 360)
Borderlands - sandbox + online heavy = no chance
Bioshock 1+2 - big levels but could've been downgraded potentially (though Wii released too late for Bioshock 1)
Bioshock Infinite - UE3 so probably not.
Mafia 2 - sandbox, so unlikely

Rockstar Table Tennis - yep
some 2k sports games - yep
some shovelware - yep
last gen port of Bully - yep, perfect audience but only did half as much.

to be fair Bioshock 1 did come out later on PS3, but i agree with the rest.

But that's exactly the reason I was talking about. Why was there no PS3 version at launch ? Because the console was released too late in the dev cycle, just like the Wii. There's really no other reason because everyone thought that the PS3 would do well after the successes of PS1 and PS2.

Take Two saw (after Bioshock was released for PC and 360) that the Wii owners weren't really the kind that would buy their games, so they decided to take the easy route and port it just to the PS3, because a Wii port would've been more costly due to the downgrading.
