well, even if a soft mod becomes available, it won't be widespread because it only works on older copies of Twilight Princess.
If we assume nintendo sold 50% of the copies before finding the fix, then ~2.3m users could even take advantage of this soft mod. And even then, what percentage of those do you think actually even care about modding. So say 1m users can now soft mod that isn't really that big of a hit on nintendo's user base. Sure its something, but until they find another game to do this to, then it really isn't nearly as big a deal as say soft modding a PSP.
