Nintendo isn't doing great right now, and Mario Kart Wii sold, like, a zillion copies (or 34 million, if you care), so every little bit helps. Nintendo expects Mario Kart 8 to turn things around for the system, and doesn't plan on squandering the momentum it'll gain them. |
I'm not so confident.
It will sell well. It might even sell great. But I hardly expect it to "turn things around" for the system. Especially after Wii Fit U.
