You realize that with 'old franchise' GTAV, Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Batman and all the others won't be able to win either right? Only The Last of Us, but I guess that's your agenda. Not Mario's fault for being around 30 years, especially if his games are still good.

As a side-note, people saying Nintendo-games are rehashes just because they belong to old franchises need to actually start playing some Nintendo games. The ignorance gets really annoying. More often then not, those are the only ones that aren't rehashes.

Anyone who refers to Nintendo's games as "rehashes" instantly loses all credibility in my book.
