these were both kinda true tho, altho a lot of what hurt the N64 and the GC was both what Nintendo tried to make them appear to be and what Sony was branding the Playstation as

Of course you're right that they lost some shares with GC and N64, but I just wanted to emphasize the whole "dooom" and "they're going bankrupt" stuff :)

Lost some share? They went from the undisputable console leader to almost irrelevant. Those 2 gens where DOOM gens for Nintendo in the console business.
OT: Sales are decent now, that the Christmas season is here, but wait for the January collapse. It will happen
