It is, not likely because of 3DS XL tho. I think the NPD thread said 2DS contributed to over 60% of 3DS sales in the states last month. With the insane deals we've had here I bet it's even higher.

It does contribute though definitely here in the UK. Let's say it contributed just 20% of the sales, that's already a huge increase. 

Also where does it say that about the 2DS? That's amazing if true!
