Its not that Nintendo fans shouldn't care about specs. Specs will always matter. The question is how will the kiddy games look when the graphics get too good looking? Hopefully at a Disney/Pixar level. Their next gen will make that happen because on the PS4 and Xbox One games already look like borderline CG movies in engine. The problem is because Nintendo has trained their loyalists not to rely on third parties because of their inability to work with them. If Nintendo would've worked with third parties this would never have been an issue.
I concur with the just enjoy the games part.
