Moving forward, I think Nintendo consoles are going to be hamstringed by the need to include both a wii-mote and a tablet controller for backwards compatability. This would especially true for an early Wii U sucessor, as I (and other U owners) would be upset that we couldnt' play all of our games with out buying another controller. It wouldn't be the worst, but it would certainly need backwards compatability and the ability to transfer my Nintendo account. I do not think this machine could co-exist with the Wii U, as Nintendo doesn't haev the resources. Over all, I think it's a bad idea, Nintendo should probably look into a short life cycle for the Wii U if things don't pick up, but this is too short, and the 3DS should be able to carry the company as long as the Wii U has at least Gamecube-N64 sales.
