Nah, games like this could probably fit within 100MB. Simple graphics, zero FMV, limited audio. Even basic set owners could enjoy these.

Could yeah, but they're all stand alone so each sport would need to duplicate audio, textures etc. and the texture resolution could be increased (but maybe just upscaled).
Wii Sports was about 750MB as far as I can see.
