Shrugs. The 3DS has better lighting/shader functionality than the GameCube but lower raw horsepower/geometry I believe.

As far as I know a more modern gpu but a less powerful cpu then the wii

Even GPU wise, the GameCube has more raw horsepower, there's nothing on the 3DS that touches the poly pushing power of something like Rogue Squadron II. The 3DS is better at things like having modern shading/lighting effects, but that's not really a big deal in sports games.
