Not really, youve just got to be realistic and look at the situation. The PS3 has been on the market for almost 7 Years now and the PS4 is releasing in only 2 Months. A cut to $199 at this stage of its life, with nothing releasing alongside said cut, was never going to do wonders. A $199 PS3, 2 Months before the PS4 releases for $399, isnt going to be a very attractive purchase.
A cut to $199 during the Holiday of 2011 or maybe even 2012 though? Would have had an impact.
