Kids today are growing up with so much tech in their hands, mostly phones and tablets, that they really don't know "what a Nintendo or a Mario is". Might seem funny to you, but Nintendo just doesn't enter their sphere of experience with all the other, cooler stuff around, and at this rate the company is playing itself out of the game for a good while to come. Your arrogant laughter seems kind of silly against that backdrop. |
The problem with this argument is that it's been around since 1995 or so. Sure, it was just "PC's and the internet" back then, and Crash Bandicoot was the cooler stuff, but the argument is the same.
